Tarot birth card

Which Tarot card does your birth date carry?

Nothing is shuffled here and nothing is drawn. The day, month and year of your birth add up to one card of the 22 Major Arcana — for many people a second one too. Plus the year card: a theme for your current year of life.

Date of birth

No time or place needed — the cards follow from the date alone.

1 · Add

Month, day and year are added up — for example 3 + 15 + 1977 = 1995.

2 · Reduce

The digits are summed until a number from 1 to 22 remains: your birth card.

3 · Year card

Using the current year instead of your birth year gives the theme of your current year of life.

Tarot birth cards serve self-reflection. They don't predict events. How we calculate is explained in the methodology, all 22 cards are listed under Tarot cards.
