Capricorn and Pisces
Earth meets water · Support and dream
Capricorn builds walls, Pisces brings the sea. What sounds contradictory complements each other surprisingly well: one gives support, the other gives softness. A quiet, caring combination in which both become what they lack on their own.
First encounter
Pisces senses the loneliness behind Capricorn's severity, and Capricorn senses the strength behind Pisces's gentleness. The first encounter is quiet: Capricorn is reserved, Pisces is patient, and both like that nobody pushes. Capricorn admires Pisces's imagination and warmth, Pisces admires Capricorn's calm and reliability. Trust grows slowly – and then holds.
What connects you
Both are loyal, modest and not loud. Capricorn gives Pisces structure, security and the confirmation that their dreams have a place; Pisces gives Capricorn compassion, softness and permission not to have to be strong all the time. Capricorn makes real what Pisces imagines, and Pisces gives Capricorn's work a soul. Together they are a couple that is unremarkable on the outside and very connected on the inside.
Where it rubs
Capricorn wants clarity, plans and punctuality; Pisces lives in moods, possibilities and delays. Capricorn experiences Pisces as unreliable and unrealistic, Pisces experiences Capricorn as cold and controlling. Capricorn wounds with severity, Pisces slips away by withdrawing. Capricorn works, Pisces dreams – and each considers the other's a waste of time. The translation: Capricorn takes feelings seriously as facts, Pisces keeps agreements as a sign of affection.
