Leo and Sagittarius
Fire meets fire · Generosity and adventure
Leo and Sagittarius are two fire signs with wide-open hearts: Leo loves big, Sagittarius thinks big. Both are optimistic, generous and hard to slow down – a cheerful, warm-hearted combination full of plans.
First encounter
Sagittarius laughs, Leo shines – and both are off at full speed straight away. The first encounter is loud, hearty and full of ideas: travel, parties, projects. Leo enjoys Sagittarius's enthusiasm, Sagittarius enjoys Leo's generosity. Each feels encouraged by the other, and neither has to pretend. Fire recognises fire, and here it burns without rivalry.
What unites them
Optimism, honesty, joy in life. Both are generous with time, money and praise, both love adventure and good company. Leo gives Sagittarius constancy and a place to come home to; Sagittarius gives Leo breadth and the reminder that the world is bigger than one's own stage. They forgive each other quickly and hold no grudges. Together they are a couple that sweeps others along – warm, loud, up for anything.
Where it rubs
Leo is fixed and wants commitment, Sagittarius is mutable and wants freedom. Leo feels neglected when Sagittarius is off again; Sagittarius feels hemmed in when Leo takes loyalty to mean presence. Sagittarius hurts Leo with unsolicited honesty, Leo hurts Sagittarius with possessiveness. Both tend to overdo it – when spending, when promising, when celebrating. The translation: Sagittarius keeps their promises, Leo lets go without sulking – and one of them keeps an eye on moderation.
