Libra and Sagittarius
Air meets fire · Charm and new horizons
Libra and Sagittarius are a cheerful couple: Libra brings style and balance, Sagittarius optimism and breadth. Both are sociable, tolerant and happiest among people – a light, adventurous combination.
First encounter
Sagittarius tells stories, Libra listens charmingly and asks the right questions – and both have a good evening. Sagittarius likes Libra's elegance and fairness, Libra likes Sagittarius's humour and openness. The first encounter is light and warm; neither gets heavy, neither clings. Air feeds fire, and here it burns cheerfully.
What unites them
Both are open, sociable and generous. They love travel, culture and conversations about life, the universe and everything. Libra gives Sagittarius tact and a sense of other people, Sagittarius gives Libra resolve and the encouragement to take a stand. Both are idealistic – Libra for justice, Sagittarius for meaning – and can get fired up about it together. A couple that does a lot, laughs a lot and holds few grudges.
Where it rubs
Sagittarius is tactless where Libra needs tact; Libra is indecisive where Sagittarius wants to set off. Sagittarius experiences Libra as eager to please and dependent on others, Libra experiences Sagittarius as inconsiderate and non-committal. Both avoid depth and everyday routine – Libra out of a need for harmony, Sagittarius out of an urge for freedom – and nobody holds the fort. The translation: Sagittarius thinks before speaking; Libra decides before asking everyone – and one of them takes on the practical side.
